Osceola County Courthouse

On May 7, 1888, Osceola County Commissioner Readding Blount Parker made a motion to advertise for plans and specifications for a courthouse and jail. The motion was adopted and the County Courthouse was completed in 1890. It is the oldest courthouse in Florida in continuous use.  It is of interest to this site because of Readding Blount Parker's part in its construction
